credit score vs.insurance score one way for nationwide to pay for money spent in nascar. never a claim in 20 years ,never late on a payment to anyone in 30 years but nationwide says 3 accounts is"too many multiple existing accounts". goodbye nationwide!

Customer service problem is in the sales agency. Nationwide had allowed its agents to aquire multiple agencies and the owner/agents no longer have time for their customers who have been loyal to the agency for years. They are farming the personal contact out to office managers and the like rather than earning the business as they once did.

I was recently in an accident in my truck, when I called my Nationwide agent, Steve Wall, not only did he help me get the claim started but he drove to the accident site and helped me load my tools into his car so they could tow my pickup. I got a rental and was back at work the next day. I will never leave Nationwide because of his service.

If you have an accident with someone that has nationwide insurance please get an attorney. they will lowball your injuries and the claim adjuster are dirty and lazy. They will not return your call . These guys are crooks in the memphis tn area. they are in the business of ripping you off. please get an lawyers to sue these jokers from the start. I don't care for lawyers either but you need one for these hateful agents and claims adjusters. Memphis, TN

NW has a history of overcharging for insurance. I called in and told my agent that I received a quote from another and carrier then all of a sudden I get a rate decrease. What a rip off.

Nationwide decided my car was totaled! OK. Now, they are offering a LOW BALL settlement of the car. AND they said I MUST RETURN MY RENTAL SINCE THEY MADE ME A VIABLE OFFER!!!! No sense talking to them. They are being absurd. Nowhere in my policy does it state that the rental must be returned within 48 hours after NATIONWIDE gives me a settelment value. My policy reads up to 30 days rental or $900.00. Nothing about turning the rental b/c they (NW)pulled some insane value out of the air. I was not even given any paperwork to backup why the car was totaled! CAUTION - IN North Carolina be very careful about using them ********

I got in a car accident with someone who had nationwide insurance. Nationwide did an estimate, which was much lower than the estimate to fix the car. They want to put substandard parts on the car. I am still having trouble getting it fixed. I am glad I have State Farm. I will not be switching to Nationwide.

We just had a $120.00 inc. in our homeowners ins. Only way to lower it was to decrease the amt. of coverage on our house, which we did, still giving us a inc. of over $50. We live in town, 1 small lot away from the fire hydrant and have been fortunate enough to have had no claims for 5 yrs. Also have a high deductible and carry our other insurances with them, plus belong to F.B. I feel they are collecting from us and others for losses they have incurred from others. Shame on them........they aren't to do that but I am sure there are ways to legally get around it.
