This company has very dicey sales practices, and they are DESPERATE for your money. Less than one minute after I entered my phone number into the form on their Web site, they called me; I'm not kidding. On the phone, they kept passing me around to different representatives, for no apparent reason, who talked 100 miles per hour. I specifically asked for dental insurance with my medical plan, and they offered me FACT, which is NOT insurance coverage--it is only a discount valid within a narrow network of providers. They attempted to make an audio recording of me answering their questions with "yes" or "no". But if you say an answer they don't want, they'll keep starting the recording over again. They finally gave up and passed me to someone who handles "problem customers" (aka "smart customers who ask questions"). When I asked about their coverage exclusions, they said I had to wait for them to send me a document disclosing that information. You should always be able to learn about specific coverage, exclusions and networks BEFORE you accept a plan...not afterwards. They are totally backwards and they just want your money, so avoid Golden Rule Insurance. |
